Audience members are welcome to join the artists for a light dinner at Silky Apple Chinese restaurant, following the recitals at Glenfern and Rippon Lea. Cost is very reasonable, drinks are extra – bookings can be made at the ticket desk, prior to the beginning of each recital. In association with the East Timor Hospital Support Fund, the Team of Pianists is proud to present this charity fund-raiser event - an attractive concert with refreshments in the elegance of the National Trust historic house Glenfern. Pre-concert refreshments are donated through the sponsorship of Peter Friedrich and Dr Fiona Cochrane, while the recital program will feature emerging young artists, including finalists from Royal South Street Ballarat and the Lieder Society of Victoria’s Liederfest. A separate brochure for this recital, containing full details of programme and performers, will become available later in 2019.

To celebrate the public holiday at Rippon Lea Estate, up to 100 pianists, young and old, will perform by invitation in the Ballroom at Rippon Lea, on a fine Bernstein piano from Bernies Music Land. Bring a picnic, enjoy the music, gardens and wonderful heritage site, during this fundraising event for the National Trust!
